I'm a lifelong builder and I want to do it with people I care about.

I'm David and welcome to my website.

Personally, my number one priority is my family that we're building. For years, I wasn't sure if my path would include building a family, but now its how I focus and optimize my life. Second is my friends, which really are an extension of my family.

Professionally, I’ve spent the last 15 years working in companies from one to 250 people, helping those teams build software that people want. I've been fortunate to have worked with multiple high growth startups, millions of lines of code, and award winning teams.

For the record: there's nothing in here or on my resume that I accomplished myself. I'll be clear on where my input, effort, or decisions contributed and where I was just along for the ride. But here's a few of the things I'm most proud of:

• I've been able to recover and restart multiple times. I'm not invincible and get mad when setbacks happen, but I've proven to myself that those bad spots are survivable
• My family is able to live where we want to live, near family, near the water, and with plenty of sunshine
• I've helped other people become wildly more successful than I most likely ever will be and want my days to be spent coaching up other people to help them reach their goals
• 10 years later, I'm so proud of what we built at PageLever. I hope to be successful in building a product/team/company that felt so perfect again
• At BTC, I know for a fact that my work with Carrot and Bitcoin Magazine have changed people's understanding about money
